'It's not the size of the lemons but the length of the cucumber!' Peter Andre sends fans wild with phallic shaped fruit and veg as he shares a cheeky snap of wife Emily cooking dinner

A seemingly innocuous photo of wife Emma preparing dinner became a source of hilarity for Peter Andre’s Instagram followers on Sunday afternoon.

The Australian singer, 44, added to his social media presence by sharing a shot of his doctor wife earnestly peeling carrots for a slap-up traditional roast in the kitchen of their family home.

But a strategically placed cucumber and two lemons, arranged in a phallic position on the work-surface, prompted a flurry of comments from his loyal fan-base.

'It's not the size of the lemons but the length of the cucumber!' Joked one,.

‘Lol love it bit of sense of humour the position of lemons n cucumber (sic),’ another commented, while another simply added: ‘Naughty.’

Another joked: ‘Your cucumber is pretty impressive as well.’

Elsewhere, one fan overlooked the phallic reference by opting to query what business fruit and vegetable combination had being anywhere near a traditional roast dinner, adding: ‘I’m thinking why is there a cucumber out for Sunday roast.’

Peter's latest post comes after he spoke of his brother Andrew's death, and how his passing 'tore' their family apart.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain during an interview about raising awareness for Cancer Research UK, the Mysterious Girl singer confessed that his family have 'never got over' losing Andrew.

Stressing the importance of getting checked out at the GP, Peter said: 'Early diagnosis is key. I lost my brother five years ago, it tore our family apart.

'We don't talk about it, we've never really got over it. It made me realise millions of families go through this.

'Us guys sometimes are a bit stubborn, sometimes you think it's nothing, but it could be too late. It's really important.
