'Some couples can't stop having sex' Love Island bosses 'forced to cut some of Kem and Amber's TWELVE steamy love scenes to ensure viewers don't switch off dating show
This year's show has been dubbed more tame than previous series when it comes to the bedroom antics of the show's islanders.
But Love Island bosses have purposely chosen to cut down on the amount of steamy scenes they air - especially when it comes to one particular couple.
Islanders Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have reportedly got hot and heavy a whopping 12 times on the dating series so far, but only three of their intimate sessions have been broadcast in a bid not to turn off viewers.
In the first few weeks of Love Island's current series, fans had commented that the islanders this time round appeared to be taking a slower approach when it comes to their blossoming relationships.
Viewers saw Gabby Allen tell boyfriend Marcel Somerville that she 'wasn't ready' to take their romance to the next level when they landed themselves with a night in the hideaway, and reserved Camilla Thurlow had seemed reluctant at first to let her guard down when it came to getting intimate in the villa.
According to The Sun, they have purposely chosen not to air many of the couple's steamy scenes, as they are concerned viewers could become put off by Love Island.
A show insider claimed to the paper: 'Some couples can't stop having sex and are going at it almost every night.
'Producers are being ultra-careful not to let sex become the focus of the show, so have refrained from airing saucy scenes.'
They added: 'Countless sex sessions have been left on the cutting room floor over fears they could be seen to be sensationalising sex if it's on every night.'
MailOnline have contacted a representative for Love Island.
