'It's the magic number!' Ronaldo reveals he is planning to have SEVEN children... after confirming pregnant girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is expecting his fourth child
He's a doting dad to seven-year-old son Cristianinho and newborn twins Eva and Mateo.
And Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he wants to take his tally of children to seven at his young son's suggestion.
The Real Madrid star is certainly on track since he confirmed in Ibiza earlier this month girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez was pregnant.
Now the proud dad has admitted his eldest son wants six siblings, making a match in heaven for Cristiano’s CR7 fashion brand named after his initials and his football shirt number.
He is said to have made the admission during a Chinese TV interview picked up by papers in Portugal.
Portuguese daily Correio da Manha quoted Cristiano as saying: 'Cristianinho is very happy.
'He’s doing well and says he wants more brothers and sisters. He wants seven, the magic number, and I think that’s good.'
The footballer reportedly went on to say he was 'enjoying the moment' with his three children but was ruling nothing out when it came to expanding his family.
Cristiano, 32, confirmed claims he had added to his family in June by publishing a photo of his new-born twins in his arms at the end of last month on his social media accounts.
He has yet to make any official comment on long-standing rumours his girlfriend is pregnant, although Spanish papers say he confirmed the pregnancy while on holiday in Ibiza earlier this month after the publication of photos showing her ‘baby tum'.
Cristiano’s twins Eva and Mateo were reported recently to have been conceived in a US laboratory and born to a surrogate mum.
The surrogate’s name is said to have been left blank on both birth certificates in which Cristiano is named as the father with his full name Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro.
The birth certificates, obtained by a UK newspaper earlier this month, show that the twins were delivered by a California-based obstetrician named as Dr Maria Castillo, at the Sharp Grossmont Hospital near San Diego.
Mystery surrounds the birth of Cristiano’s eldest son Cristiano Jr. Cristiano’s family has always refused to discuss whether the youngster was born to a surrogate mum, despite claims by a former nanny the footballer’s sister Katia Aveiro had told her he had two Mexican mums.
The footballer’s trip to China has been billed as his first ever individual promotional tour. He flew to the Far East in partnership with Nike.
