Family of girl killed in Manchester attack show vid 'to make her a star' as funeral begins

They released the footage to help Saffie fulfil her dream of becoming a YouTube star, and it features poignant photos of the youngster with her bereaved family.

The description reads: “She always wanted to be a YouTube star, she was a confident, bright young girl full of life, love, joy and happiness.

“With this video could you share the love for this little girl, by clicking Subscribe button to make Saffie the YouTube star that she deserves.”

Saffie was killed when suicide bomber Salman Abedi blew himself up at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on May 22.

The schoolgirl, from Lancashire, died along with 22 others and was the youngest victim of the attack.

Her older sister Ashlee Bromwich, 26, was also hurt and her mother Lisa Roussos, 48, was left with extensive injuries and taken to hospital.

Pink ribbons will adorn trees in the village of Tarleton today, where Saffie went to school.

Mourners will be taken to the funeral service at Manchester Cathedral and many will carry a single rose in Saffie's honour.

A short service of remembrance will also take place at the local church.
